Panel of Award-Winning Authors to Share on the "Write Stuff"


January 14 2004--Carolyn Howard-Johnson, UCLA Writer’s Program instructor and author of two award-winning books, This is the Place and Harkening, has assembled and will moderate “The Write Stuff: Effective Ways of Publishing and Marketing Your Book."

Members of the panel--the first writing-oriented panel ever presented at Call to Arts! Expo--will discuss topics ranging from traditional publishing to print-on-demand publishing. The 11:30 a.m. seminar will include a question and answer period. The Call to Arts! Arts, Music & Entertainment Expo & Festival, is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Pasadena (CA) Conference Center.

Other panelists include Rolf Gompertz, also a UCLA Extension Division instructor and author of three iUniverse books include two biblical novels and a spiritual self-help book, Amy Ferris, author of a young adult novel called A Greater Goode published by Houghton Mifflin, Leora G. Krygier, author of First the Raven and a superior court referee, and self-published author Alexis Powers.
